Wednesday is a very sweet girl with a dash of spice. She is a little velcro dog who loves to cuddle and she will let you know when she's not getting enough attention. She also enjoys food, sleeping in her cave bed and lounging in the yard. Her fosters love how social she is and how cute her little snaggle tooth!

Wednesday is still working on her house training and in typical Chihuahua fashion, will pee on the floor if not taken out often enough. She is currently going out for potty breaks every 3-4 hours (will sleep through the night). She does use pee pads. She is trusted free roaming when left alone. She doesn't have much experience walking on leash and does need a fair bit of encouragement. Right now, she does prefer to hang out in the yard. She is low energy. She has not shown any guarding behaviours. 

Wednesday is shy at first when meeting new people but warms up quickly. She likes other dogs, would be fine with cats and respectful children. She is looking for someone who is home often to spend lots of time with her. She would love a yard to lounge in but does need a securely fenced area as she does try to escape, especially while she is settling into a new place. She does have a knee cap that isn't in the right spot and this causes her to walk funny but it does not cause her any discomfort and she gets around just fine. Nothing needs to be done at this time with her leg. She had a few seizures while in our care but since starting on keppra (3 times a day) she hasn't had any! She will need a dental in the next 12 months.
